“Wow that flew by!” A sentiment I’ve heard many times about my family sessions and life in general. Think for a second about how fast your life moves every day. How quickly have your kids grown? How many goodnight kisses have been given? How many milestones? All the phases.
How fast has it felt? Like you blinked?
It goes by so fast, and your session may feel that way, too. This is because I find it VERY fun to let out energy balanced with slowing down, taking a deep breath, and finding deep intimacy in the everyday pass-you-by moments.
Moments like:
Holding your loved ones close. Memorizing the feel of their hands in yours.
Stealing a kiss or two.
Stopping mid-session to feed or soothe a new baby.
Laughing as you wipe mud from your pants after a rambunctious pet joins the family photo.
Seeing your parents becoming grandparents, while still being kids themselves.
Celebrating new beginnings.
Stopping time for just one second.
